The World Youth Chamber Orchestra has, with its young musicians, set itself a mission of exchanging ideas and interacting with local musicians.
The WYCO travels around the world, spreading a message of peace and joyfulness to countries with different cultures.
It was founded by Damiano Giuranna and has been appointed UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. It is composed of students of Conservatoires and Music Academies from the five continents.
Dedicated to social and educational causes, Damiano Giuranna is a conductor as well as a composer.
